Do you know who PROPAY CREDIT are?????

Just checked my bank online and I have a credit showing from Propay credit for £403.54. Does anyone know who they are. I don't know if I should say anything or just keep the money.
Has anyone ever has this happen to them?

Looks a bit like a paypal type of company that allows people to accept credit card payments. (Googled the name!)

They probably meant to put money someone elses account and got the wrong number.

It probably refers to a remittance service.

I have a Propay credit appear on my Natwest account (online banking) for a while - only to be subsequently changed (the next day) to a telegraphic transfer from overseas (statement).

So did you keep the money? or did they take it back?
  • It is a chaps payment.
