NPower billing !!!! up
I have just received a letter and bill from N Power wanting to increase my monthly direct debit from £116 to £490 a month due to billing issues and not giving advice earlier. This has been escalated to a manager as I owe £886 apparently. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thousands of people up and down the country are struggling to deal with NPOWERS sh1tty customer service. The amount of threads about this topic on this board have been loads of them
In the time we have been with npower, our monthly DD varied from between £5 to £145 (for elec only) and then 4 months ago they just completely stopped billing us. We have now called them a total of 12 times and sent 6 emails and still they cannot seem to get the DD restarted...??
We are moving this weekend, and took great pleasure in ringing them to tell them where to shove it and cancel our account.
In my experience you can try and sort it out until you are blue in the face, but they cannot seem to organise themselves. I would look to switch - that is what we would be doing if we weren't moving house anywayThe opposite of what you know...is also true0 -
They have managed to send me 2 letters telling me my tariff is ending on the 31st January and to call for the best options. There bills are so difficult to understand its untrue. I have said I will not be paying the £886 they haven't billed me for and it's been escalated to a manager to review and call me back. If need be I will go to the ombudsmen0
