    Storage heaters?

Yeah, about £25 a week sounds around the right area. Look forward to the summer when it'll be more like £25 a month.

Not who (or which). When. You know, summer time (yes, even in the North). Or do you use air-conditioning?

Oh, you meant 'How'. Anywhence. Per month £15 background (fridge, tv, laptop, lights, standing charge) plus £10 or £20 depending on how much cooking and washing you do once the heating is off.

Storage Heaters are usually what uses the most electricity, and you wont be using these in the summer.
so the summer bills should be alot smaller

Storage heaters usually go off in summer because (with any luck) it is warm. :D

We turn ours off at the wall for about 3-4 months. That just leaves water heating (1-2kWh) and general use. BST also gives us an hour of E7 in sociable times, so we can get in showers before it costs us extra.

All this results in a much reduced bill in summer.

If your costs are too high for you, look into trying to shift some of your daytime usage (which is expensive on E7), to the night when it is about a 1/3 of the cost. We do this with tumble drying, washing, and dehumidifying.
