Abbey RS Issue 6 increase to 7.25%

According to Moneyfacts Abbey Issue 6 has increased to 7.25% but Abbey's own website still shows 7%

As Issue 6 is a fixed rate account, I don't think it can increase.

Maybe they will introduce an Issue 7 with the 7.25% rate.

Well apparently - according to another thread - they are meant to be launching a 10% regular saver on the 2nd July. So I wonder why they've chosen to increase the issue 6 rate on the same date?

There's a new Fixed Rate Monthly Saver being launched next Monday, open to all and paying 7.25%. There's also Super Monthly Saver, paying 10%, only open to people whose main bank account is with Abbey, or new customers taking out an investment or mortgage.
