Does anyone have any info on which companies let you pay for a new boiler monthly?

We have a really old back boiler and its not the most efficient of things, we have been planning to have it removed and get a combi boiler in (and then we can also get a log burner fitted in our fireplace) we just havent been able to find the money to buy a new boiler.

My mam mentioned that British Gas will fit a new boiler for you and you can pay them monthly for it, she thought you had to switch to them to supply you as well but she wasnt 100% sure.

Does anyone know which companies do this? and do you have to switch your gas to them?

Thank you

There is a whole thread about boiler rental:

Obviously with this firm you can use any gas supplier.

Firms like BG will fit a boiler for a price and let you pay on 'easy terms' but it is not rental.

A lot of things that you buy then pay monthly, you're probably not paying the company you bought from all that's happended is they arraged finance through someone else. It may be cheaper to find your own loan.

  • It could be worth looking to see if you qualify for a free boiler from ECO, if you don't I've seen loads of adverts for help link who say you can buy a boiler for ££ a month or another alternative might be the Green Deal
