Visa I think it's 7 days, unsure for MasterCard.0

Sweet. Is that 7 working days or 7 real days?0

It's 7 real days (or it has been for me)0

I am glad someone else knows that I mean when I call them real days.

Just an update. Checked online banking and the authorisation hold was gone.
Result.
Transaction was from Friday.0 -
Just to add 7 days is the usual but it does depend on the issuer rather than the network. For example, my Lloyds American Express usually drops auths after 7 days but my American Express issued directly by Amex usually has auths drop off after 3 days.0
