155kwH gas per day over last few days

Hello,

Just moved into a new house and was wondering if this was higher than the average usage?

Worcester 38cdi, average insulation, 3 bed semi, heating on 6am-10pm. (set at 18 celcius through day, apart from 6-8am and 5-10pm when its at 21) Celsius on thermostat.

Average usage is 13,500 KWh a year. If you were to use what you're currently using 365 days a year, you would be using 56,500 KWh.

Obviously you won't have the heating on during warmer months, as a rough guide the coldest 4 months will account for 80% gas usage in a home with GCH.

You're probably using somewhere between 2-3 times the national average. This isn't surprising, most people probably only heat their homes 8 hours a day; yours is on for double that.

As above, my smart meter tells me I'm using 40 - 45Kwh of gas a day.
Heating at 7:30 - 5pm @ 17c, 5pm to 10 pm @19 c.

Minimal hot water use, 3 bed terrace.

PS OP are you doing the convertion correctly, metric meter units x11, imperial meter unit x30
