I would get a year or two into the DMP before you make a decision about kids. Your circumstances might change in that time - one of you might get a pay rise, you might find full-time work etc.
After you've lived within the constraints of the DMP for a year or two, you'll have a better feel for whether you have any spare cash left each month after paying your creditors, or whether things are really, really tight.Mortgage when started: £330,995
