I work mainly in the SME/independent sector so I know how much Tesco strangle small businesses. However, think they definitely went the extra mile in this case
My daughter lives in a little village in the East Midlands and has just started her first real job and got her first house. I thought I'd send her a grocery order for her birthday and only Tesco delivered to her post code.
The driver called me because he couldn't find the address and she wasn't answering her mobile. I couldn't give directions. Long story short - the driver and the store tried really hard, and the delivery was made later that day. Apparently her mobile only works in parts of the house (or she slept in! :mad:)
