Is there funding available for coloured lenses?

Hey, New to all this, but after reading all your posts and gaining a huge amount of useful information, I thought if anyone would know, it would be here. My daughter has coloured lenses for her learning disablility. Now thinking my son will also need them,

My wife has macular degeneration in both eyes and has Lucentis injections most months. She has just paid almost £500 for 2 pairs of glasses, varifocals, one clear 1 sunglasses. Never knew she might benefit from a specific tint.
