New combi boiler fitted - pressure release pipe

I recently had a combi boiler fitted.

I now have a copper pipe coming out of the front of the house which (IMO), looks odd.

The fitter advises it's the pressure release pipe/ blow off & is an essential safety part of the system. Whilst I don't doubt this, should it look any better than a pipe sticking out?

It's at head height & is in a corner, but doesn't seem right.

Yep, standard on most combi boilers.
If you look at other houses around your area i'm sure you'll see them

It MUST be turned to spray boiling water/steam against the wall and not over anyone standing near.
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.

    Thanks both of you.

It is turned to the wall, so I guess all is OK & normal.
