Bathroom floor not level

Just had a new bathroom put in and I was left to source and fit the new skirting.

Skirting arrived today and it now seems the tiled flooring isn't level at all!

I owe the builder £100-£200 but what can I do in regards to him a) fixing it of b) returning some of the '000's he's received from me.

He fitted underfloor heating as well.

Cowboy.
Just have a little faith

Retain what you owe him and politely ask him to rectify the problems. If he does not then you can look to take him to small claims on the basis his workmanship is defective

Not so fast, you've jumped in there with both feet.

There is no evidence in the op to prove defective workmanship.

The original floor maybe out of true and is simply higher at one end. This May or may not have been pointed out to the op. If however individual tiles aren't level well that's a different matter.

This needs some clarification from the op.

reckon its likely to be the walls being out as its rare that everything would be perfectly squared off, unless its a new build with exacting measurements...

Are you sure the skirting is spot on as that can warp?..

it might be that you need to scribe out the skirting so that it matches in with the flooring..

As assuming the floor tiling looks good then the tiler has done what was asked of him..

Eye agree ... fitted a lot of skirting and its not as easy as people think. If the floor is really that bad how come its only the skirting that shows it up?
