    Hi all.

We finally managed to get moved last weekend so I am starting a week late. I am sure I will manage to catch up - will try anyway!!!!

A friend helped me sort out the house before we moved and 3 van loads went to the local auction house. That should bring in some money over the next six weeks.

I had to halve the amount of books I have on amazon, some of which a friend has taken to car boot and will pay me a commission, the rest went to the auction house. They are now unpacked and back online so should start to show some progress soon.

I also have a few items for ebay, but not much.
    First Direct Loan @ 7.9% £13,076.03/£20,250
    Mint CC @ 18.9% £3030.29/£3100 Virgin CC @ 34.9% £651.46/£2700 Tesco CC @ 0% 1366/1500

Yeah 224 from council tax refund in my account today! A payment to paypal for surveys but will leave that in for now & count it later. Can I count the £10 from GFK surveys even though its amazon vouchers which I will use to buy some low GI books (for my new eating regime when I finish this diet!!)? Wasnt sure as its not money as such but amazon codes (& assume you cant sell those?)...few things on ebay but its a bit quiet on the bidding front. Fingers crosssed on the ring! No bids yet though...

I'm really happy as 11 of my videos sold on ebay which is not bad for VHS. Really pleased with that. Banked £40 of £2 coins and today got a £10 gift voucher bonus from work, so hurrah, I'm on my way.....................:D

Hi - I'd say yes - but only if you would have bought the books anyway, and transfer the money into savings/pay off some debt with it! Well that's what I'd do anyway. Ruthie

Ok, so I've finally done it, I've packed and printed labels for all the items that have been paid for (sorry local Post Office, but I :happylove PayPal label printing!) and I have come out with a total profit of £100.43 :D
I am happy with that! Just got to motivate myself to list some more things now.... I keep thinking of things as I'm sat here!
Anyways, off to post again on Lucy's challenge, then update my sig :j

Don't worry it doesn't cost anymore (apart from you have to pay for the label and your time printing and sticking).

I've not used it yet but I've just played around with it putting in various weights and formats (letter, large letter and parcel) and the price always comes out exactly the same as the price on the royal mail price chart I have on my wall above my desk.

Post offices obviously don't like it as they don't get the revenue but have to process the parcel so perhaps fish-face's postman was trying to put them off using it.

If you ask the post office for a leaflet with all the post prices on it they should be able to give you one or you can download one from the royal mail website (can't for the life of me find it at the precise moment though), that way you can check the price they're quoting is what you expected - I always weigh and check items before listing (hence the chart on the wall).

    Hope that helps.
