this seems to be a fantastic challenge; how about a lower level of £500 for those new to ebay/amazon etc. £500 works out to less than 100 per month.

We started with £1000 pk2007 because it's actually quite low over the course of the challenge, it's about £37 a week! Just over £5 a day!

Once you get going you'll find it easy :)

Well... not easy...quite challenging actually. But it is a Challenge and it can be done. We are all here to help each other. :T
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

    Hi

Im relatively new to MSE (as you can see by my post count!!!)

But im trying to save up to go travelling next June, and so would like to have a bit of a saving spree within this challenge.

Im going to aim for Silver (£2000) just to see if I can do it, but hopefully will be able to push it more than that!

Quick question, Ive already done a few deals on Quidco, but I doubt I will get the money until after 14th July, can I count that in as it will be in my account after 14th July.

Also, does this mean that I am now a part of the challenge and can put details in my signature, or do I have to pm gemzie to officially join?

    :)

This looks great - but now I'm torn - am trying to do the £1000 in 2 months challenge and it's not going all that well! Not sure what to do now - whether to join this, or not...hmm...not much left to ebay now!! :)

    Hiya :j

Sea you did brilliantly with the other challenge and your an inspiration for a lot of us, but if you only get £100 at least it's better in your pocket than you've got to find it elsewhere.

Count me in for bronze please, I know I passed that last time but I knew I had a few things such as car insurance etc to save on and a few other things which resulted in quite a substantial amount for the totals.

Only have the course debt (see signature) which I can pay off immediately with savings, but would love to use this challenge as I want to try and not dip into savings, and want to try and save as much as possible for a house next year.

Not been too succesful on ebay recently - how are everyone else going on ebay at moment? So may even dip feet into MB, but I know nothing about football so at least 5 Nations will be starting within the time frame.

    Thanks kiwigirl :)

I will join then - put me down for Bronze. The christmas shopping sounds good too and I'm going to start shopping soon for that. Also got quite a few birthdays coming up so will be good to see what 3for2s, bogofs etc I can get.

Add it in now, I'll keep combing the thread, people joining after starting date need to PM me though to make sure I don't miss them

Hi Gemmzie, I'd like to join this time too please. I'm doing Lucy's Pay Off by Xmas challenge too, so they will compliment each other.... Please put me in for Bronze to start with, but I may trade up later on.

    Thanks
