    Hi all!!

Quick question in preparation for this challenge...

I logged into my PayPal account yesterday. I have used this account the grand total of once about 4 years ago for £1 I think! It appears to be a premier account. I tried to find out what this meant but am even more confused now! What is the normal account that everyone uses who does ebay in this challenge? Is that the personal one?

Thanks for any help... don't want to pay more in fees than I have to to use Paypal for Ebay and changing survey money into cash! Have lots of [strike]junk[/strike] wonderful items to sell!

O.k joined up here for the first time, cant wait to start. I have a separate account for all my savings but could someone please tell me what do u do when you receive a voucher from sites, do you buy it off yourself and bank the cash or do you have virtual savings as welll as hard cash. Thanks very much.
Would love to earn an extra £40 a Week. Trying to find ways to :-)

I either use it myself for gifts or stuff I need, or swap it with friends or family for the equivalent cash value. Either way I count the value once it is cash in my hands to add to the challenge pot. Hope this helps :)
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!

Cunning plan FDF!! It would possibly get quite confusing to have a pending account & paid wouldnt it! Am very excited that I have some watchers on my ebay stuff & one bid of £5!! Haven't done it with "the code" as not quite sure (despite explanation!) how to do it! Going to pace them through the next few weeks - partly because I dont want a packaging crisis, need to iron loads and also because with the 10p listing I assume it gets very busy that day?! Thanks for the hint re turbothingy though - THINK I'm getting the hang of it!! Envirophone also confirmed they got my code and a bloke I know is going to buy my B&Q vouchers off me in a coupe of weeks (he's skint which is to my benefit!!) yahoo! How are others doing?

That sounds like a great start FF. When you listed your stuff on ebay did you used coloured text in your detailed description or just leave it black and white? If you used coloured text then you'll know what to do next. To use coloured text you just highlight the area of chosen text ie the 'mseolympicchallenge' code that you can write anywhere in your description. Then click on the the font colour icon which is the small block of coloured squares just above the description box that you are typing in, it will drop down to show all available colours and then just pick white. The code will go white so that you cannot see it but its there 'hidden' in your description so it will be picked up by any search.Hope that helps, Boom.

I have a premier account too. I think that you have to have one of these in order to be able to accept payments by credit/debit card when sellin gon ebay. I think some people manage to have two accounts to avoid paying extra fees, but I can't be bothered with the hassle!

    Hi all,

Expecting some vouchers for survey sites soon, saved £1.10 last night as a friend bought me a drink as he got to bar before me, so at least off the mark!

I know we're not supposed to money claimed back against the banks but I've complained about a mis-sold bond I did a few years ago, would it be ok to include that in the money received? If yes, I'd upgrade my challenge...

hello everybody been cleaning and listing things like mad. I have sold 12 (yes twelve books at amazon in the last few days) as amazon have not put the money into my account yet, will it be ok for me to add this money to the challenge when it arrives (hopefully after the 14th)?

Now just need to work out the ebay selling thing, have the digital camera but am a bit of a technophobe.

Hopefully will be able to sell as well as amazon, I just can't believe the stuff that has been lying in the house.

I think the woman at the post office and I will become good friends at this rate. :D

by the way I'm not spam??? (what's that) but a rather happy Scot.
