Is M&S coleslaw the nicest?

I can't bear coleslaw but my fairly fussy dd19 will only eat the M&S or Waitrose ones. She likes plenty of the downshift items we' re tried from Aldi and Lidl, but coleslaw got a big thumbs down.0

The Co-operative Truly Irresistible coleslaw has fresh snipped chives on top ready to stir in and ingredients include creme fraiche and double cream.
Sainsbury's Taste The Difference West Country Mature Cheddar coleslaw is good.
Tesco standard coleslaw is OK, the premium Lidl coleslaw is OK. KFC coleslaw is OK but a bit too sweet. ASDA does a coleslaw with bacon (weird).
My favourite is Abel & Coleslaw from Abel & Cole.0 -
Nothing beats Lidl luxury coleslaw with Cheese IMHO - I could happily sit with a fork and eat a whole tub! very creamy, some grated tasty cheeses in it like Red Leicester and plenty of spring onion, finely chopped vegetables.
Also Lidl egg mayo is the best, proper recognisable chunks of egg and plenty of deep golden yolk lumps. Better than the diluted pale slushy slop many supermarkets sell.
While on the salad trail, Lidl low fat Hummus is delicious, rich, not over smooth - has some texture and generous flavouring with sesame oil. Yum yum yum!0 -
Another vote for the Co-operative Truly Irresistible coleslaw0

I make my own for special occasions but for everyday we like the Tesco Everyday Value it's about 25p we also sometimes get the Aldi coleslaw but it comes in a big tub and we struggle to get through it in a couple of days...0

Nothing beats homemade not even M&SPeople seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

I like the Tesco everyday value one too, it's great for the price. I don't like it too creamy so this is perfect. Never found a great homemade recipe, care to share and also how do you get the veg so fine?? Grate it??0 -
I cut cabbage and onion by hand, grate carrot. More carrot than cabbage and onion (my biggest bug bear about shop bought). Good mayo - ideally homemade then a spoon of greek yog or buttermilk to add some sharpness, plenty of salt and pepper, maybe celery salt. A splash of cider vinegar and a little sugar if you feel it needs it.
Can add so many diff things from there - red cabbage, other root veg, nuts, blue cheese, drop the mayo and dress with french dressing, go oriental style with soy and sesame oil chilli and ginger.People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.
