Best win... a surprise delivery of a huge box, inside was a beach bag stuffed with toiletries and hiding at the bottom was a £200 RLD voucher!

Strangest win.... a set of Kicka$$ graphic novels, have no idea how I came by them as I don't even recall them being offered as a runner up prize!

Highest value win.... Have had a few around the £250-£270 mark including the bag & vouchers above, an iPad mini, a Sonos Play system and a £250 H&M voucher.

how long have you been comping.... Seriously for about 18 months, before that on and off for years! I used to think I entered a lot but it was probably no more than 20 a week! Never won anything till I comped from MSE though.

do you just enter comps posted on MSE.... Now I do.

How often on average do you think you win.... Can be anything from once a month to twice a week. I'd say average is once every 2-3 weeks and that's including very low value wins too.

how long after you started comping did you get your first win.... After I started comping seriously from here it took over 2 months to get even a small win (pack of sweets!).

Anything else you want to say or add, any tips for new compers or word of inspiration lol... Stick at it - a win has to come sooner or later! It might only be sweets or some cereal though, so don't go expecting ITV to ring in your first week!

i was about 9 when i started doing comps local paper ones in those days comps were very far and few between so maybe ever few months my sister won a bicycle with woolworths and ladybird jelly sandals that was a rare comp find

do it cos you love it not cos its a chore or with just the main prizes in your sight. small wins and freebies keep compers going and can really mount up in value. when you get things like a years supply of something it can really help with the budget, i cannot remember when i needed to buy shampoo toiletries etc i do well with these wins

how long have you been comping: Since Dec '11. But on/off with months in-between due to uni/work/general life

do you just enter comps posted on MSE: No. Local newspaper ones too

How often on average do you think you win: While I was solidly comping, and on twitter too, averaged about once a day. I won 200 prizes last year - but a lot of those were books

how long after you started comping did you get your first win: A day. It was a blu-ray player on M+S pass the parcel.

Anything else you want to say or add, any tips for new compers or word of inspiration lol: If you're getting bored, take a break. Never expect to win, but always go in with the feeling, "ill win this one" Don't get caught up in a cycle of enter and disappointment, it's all for fun and when it stops, step away.

Best win - There have been loads, but Tea for Two at the Ritz was divine, as was the slap-up meal for 4 at The Real Greek. I always cherish the "experience" wins the most

Strangest win - random Bad Grandpa poster signed by Johnny Knoxville, random Wayne's World DVD & a sachet of maple syrup

Highest value win - Minibreak for four to Glasgow, with flights, transfers, spending money, bus tickets in the Centre and a VERY expensive meal. Approx value £2500

how long have you been comping - Started in Feb 2012, so 2 years next month!

do you just enter comps posted on MSE - Almost exclusively, but occasionally check The Prize Finder or a random Google search for FB/Twitter comps if there's something specific I would like

How often on average do you think you win - I used to win at least one or two things a week, but I've become a bit more picky with what I enter now and missed several days worth at the start of the year, so my wins have decreased to just a few a month...

how long after you started comping did you get your first win - three weeks: a travel pillow & alarm clock. I WAS SO EXCITED!!!

Anything else you want to say or add, any tips for new compers or word of inspiration lol - There are definite ebbs and flows with wins, so don't give up! I'm in a dry patch at the moment, but I won't stop, as you never know what is around the corner. The last time I complained about a dry spell, I got a WEM that day saying I won £1000! :cool:

for a priceless win, I would say a trip to London for 4 which included a night in the 5* W hotel (wow wow wow!) a £300 tab in Gaucho steak restaurant (amazing!) walking down red carpet to the M&M's new London store on opening night, watching and meeting JLS inside the store (my daughters were bowled over!) and travel to and from London... it was a magical weekend it truly was!! Will never forget that!

How often on average do you think you win....Around 5 times a month now as not doing so many due to work committments

Anything else you want to say or add, any tips for new compers or word of inspiration lol....If winning is the buzz you want enter all comps posted or as many as you can. The more you enter the more chance of winning. I enter nearly 400 a day. Even if you don't want the prize you can sell, exchange etc and its fun just to win even if its a keyring because it keeps you going. Also for me personally I find that if I enter comps via end date order a day or two before comp ends I win less. Getting through as many comps as possible via page 1,2 etc in order of posting wins me more. No idea why.

No, I also enter comps in the local paper, local shops and radio station.
I also get my 4 year old daughter to enter colouring competitions or any children’s competitions run by local businesses.

How often on average do you think you win....
When entering a lot, I usually win 1 or 2 prizes a week.

About 3 weeks I think

Take a look at entering competitions that require a little bit of effort to enter, as these get a lot less entries.
