how long have you been comping.... on and off nearly 2 year but this is probably my 3rd committed go at it lol

how long have you been comping.... On MSE, since Dec 2013, but elsewhere, as long as I can remember!

do you just enter comps posted on MSE.... The only forum I use is MSE, but I do enter comps I spot on FB etc (and post them on MSE, if they're not here already!)

How often on average do you think you win.... Couple of times a week is the current average

If a comp looks too good to be true, it probably is, so don't risk entering your details - come here and ask about it Good karma is everything: take time out to be happy for others who are winning and tell them on the IWIWIW forum... That board is also very inspirational!

Strangest win.... Don't have one.

Highest value win.... The £200 gift card which I bought a Nexus 7 tablet with.

how long have you been comping.... Since mid June 2013

do you just enter comps posted on MSE.... Yes, as they are always here anyway.

How often on average do you think you win.... I had a streak of one big win a month but had a break in December & so I haven't won anything since November.

how long after you started comping did you get your first win.... 1.5 months for a comp that had actually ended a month earlier.

Anything else you want to say or add, any tips for new compers or word of inspiration lol.... when you feel like giving up or that your luck has gone just keep trying because a win is always around the corner.

best win - An all expenses trip to Venice for 2 including flights, 4 star hotel, food, trasnfers on a private boat and a gondala ride !

strangest win - nothing really, if i think its strange i won't enter it

highest value - holiday above but ive had some really great wins such as a 42 inch lcd tv and blu ray and a £500 shopping trip with a hotel, meal, dvds and malteseasrs too which i can imagine were quite expensive value

how long Have I been comping - 3/4 years not sure really

how often on average do you think you win couple of times a month sometimes more sometimes less

The only advise I can give is just enjoy it as a hobby. Don't take it seriously or let it take up too much time just enjoy entering and hopfully you'll get some great wins !

Best win... 100,000 Nectar Points - it was like Supermarket Sweep running round Sainsbury's spending it

Strangest win.... Nothing exceptionally strange, but I did get carried away with the Mars comp one year and ended up with 20+ flat footballs and no foot pump

how long have you been comping.... Since I was 6 years old, but "proper" comping since 2005.

do you just enter comps posted on MSE.... 99% of comps I enter are on MSE but I do see the odd one elsewhere.

How often on average do you think you win.... I'd say about weekly but some weeks I win nothing and other weeks I win lots but about 50/60 prizes a year. I work full time, so only tend to comp on a weekend, when I have mega catch up marathons but no doubt miss lots of comps through the week.

how long after you started comping did you get your first win.... I won my first ever competition. It was an "effort" comp (I still love them now, when I have the time) and I had to draw a road safety picture. I was picked as 1 of 2 winners for a county campaign, I won a goodie bag and my drawing appeared on one side lots of carrier bags, with the other winner's picture on the other side.

Anything else you want to say or add, any tips for new compers or word of inspiration lol.... You will feel like giving up when suffering an extremely dry spell ... take a break, do something else, then come back refreshed and ready to win

Best win - I won a nexus 7 tablet, I'd been wanting one for ages but I couldn't justify buying one.

Strangest win - I won a string of garlic! - although it was strange it was also really useful, I didn't have to buy any garlic for ages!

Highest value win - I won a handbag in December worth £400 - just found out the other day its out of stock so I now have a £400 voucher for the website I won it from!

how long have you been comping - I've always entered competitions from when I was young, entered them in the magazines and comics I read but I started properly almost 2 years ago

do you just enter comps posted on MSE - 99% of the time yes, occasionally I'll see one of facebook that pops up on my newsfeed and I'll just enter from there. I dont enter many facebook ones so if I then happen to see if on MSE, I can generally remember if I've entered or not

How often on average do you think you win - I normally win a couple times a month, but I do get quiet spells and then normally quite a few at the same time

how long after you started comping did you get your first win - A couple weeks, I won a blender! It was in a unlimited entry comp and I only entered 3 times!

Anything else you want to say or add, any tips for new compers or word of inspiration lol - It can take a while to win but you just have to persevere!

How often on average do you think you win....3 times a month, possibly. It's hard to gauge sometimes.

how long have you been comping.... for about 18 years - but on MSE for about 6 years.

do you just enter comps posted on MSE.... About 99% (unless I see comps as they pop up on my Facebook/Twitter newsfeed)

How often on average do you think you win....It depends how much effort I put into comping. So far this month I have won 13 prizes - but I have been putting in a big effort entering comps. I would say once a week on average.
