Anonymous Voter Registration

I have recently been given an anonymous addition on the electoral register. I understand this may effect things like getting credit and opening a new bank account.
I have a certificate of anonymous registration from my local council. It suggests I contact the credit reference agencies and ask to go on their special anonymous elector database.
I have tried to contact the credit reference agencies, emailing Experian and Callcredit and phoning Equifax.
Experian and Callcredit have said they will get back to me within 14 and 28 days respectively. Equifax want me to create a 'my questions' support account online as the customer service rep seemed to have no clue what I was talking about. All I want to know is what's the procedure? Where do I send the certificate to?
Can anyone please help me?

You'd send the certificate to their standard customer service department with a covering letter Id imagine0 -

Call me Ms. Paranoid (I have good reason to be) but I would like to be sure of sending it to the right place. Also would they accept copies as I plan to send it to all three? And finally what are the customer service addresses for Equifax and Callcredit? They don't seem to publish them on their websites, and their call centres seem to only be interested in people who have accessed their credit reports.
It's really not as simple as it seems.0
