Just an observation, pantherchick - you keep mentioning the things that you will be doing, such as working longer hours, you paying more bills etc. What will he be doing to get more money in / spend less until the situation has improved?

Thanks for your advice and I know what you are saying... I hope that he will be making a effort too. although his job is full time but never any over time. and he did have a stroke not so long ago. all on the mend now. my job on the other hand, I work 5 shifts full time but theres always extra shifts available. I shall just pick up a few when I feel I can do them and hopefully they will make the difference.. thanks for all your help. also Ive been to the bank today and set up a joint account for these bills for the house. not his loan and over draft, and credit cards. that's what hes got to sort out himself.... no over draft on this joint account no debit card.. just for the d/d . lets see how we go.. xx
