My boiler broke down last Friday. I called at 5:30pm to get an engineer. He called at 6:00pm and advised he could make it that evening but not until 11pm or possible after midnight. Agreed to next day between 8 and 1pm. Typically, no show. Phoned at 1pm to be told it was logged as a pm call and someone would be there before 6pm. Again no show.. Guy arrived at 6:15 stating he had just been told of the problem, and fixed the boiler within minutes. Appalling service. Have now cancelled contract. Any better alternatives?

The engineer came in 24 hours and fixed the boiler, sounds reasonable to me. Admin sounds as if it needs improving a tad.
