Wall strapping required - who do I call?

Hi all,
I've been advised to get some 'precautionary strapping to a standard detail (lateral restraint strapping)' to a wall in my house which has some distortion. Googling isn't helping me much - what trade do I need? Is this a very specialised job?
Thanks for your help!

Would imagine any competent experienced builder would do. Try and get a reccomendation, or use an established local firm.

Its really not that specialised a job as there is only appears to be a minor issue and its just precautionary - see this link for an idea of whats involved - you could even DIY it if you had the skills and tools.

If all else fails- ask the person who gave you that text. They will have contacts.0

Thanks both. Yes, I have already contacted my surveyor, as he was the one that recommended it, but figured there might be a little bit of bias there...! He hasn't got back to me yet, but figure it would be helpful to see what type of trade he puts me in contact with.
Can't appear to open that link, olias, probably my dodgy internet connection! I'll try again later. But I'm very much a newbie at this DIY malarkey, so think I will most likely defer to the professionals.
Thanks again.0 -
just type lateral restraint strapping into google, then click images, and you will see whats involved. Its basically just screwing or bolting metal straps between the affected wall and your joists to stop the two moving apart.
