Yours is the ofline card which means that it when you use it in a chip and pin device it doesn't have to dial home and check that funds are available before payment is authorised.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -
This is an online Barclays contactless card.

I had the cash card account and was not able to get contactless in June last year. I had to open a current account to get contactless. It may have changed their policy but I'd be surprised.0

Not really surprising. Barclaycard PayTags use online contactless and so do prepaid contactless cards. No reason they can't have it on their debit cards as well.0 -

Interestingly, the Contactless on my online card works on London Buses (tried it today). The buses do not have a live feed to the banks, so wasn't expecting it to work.0 -

BarclayCard has a special agreement with TFL I think because the PayTags go online as well and they work on the buses (But don't go online).0 -
Interestingly, the Barclays website still states these cards are only issued on the Bank Account and Premier Current Account.0
