PRIZES

4.1 Three (3) winners will receive one of the following three prizes. The prizes comprise of:

• Prize 1:
o 3 night stay at ‘The Inn at John O’Groats’ self-catering apartment for up to 2 adults sharing 1 room.
o 2 complimentary adult passes for the Natural Explorer boat ride (weather permitting).
o Up to £100 towards travel expenses. The Travel Allowance will only be reimbursed upon the presentation of invoices/receipts in support of allowable expenditure. The maximum amount of Travel Allowance payable will be at the Promoter’s discretion, and in any event will not exceed £100. • Prize 2:
o 3 night stay at 'The Inn at John O'Groats' self-catering apartment for up to 2 adults and 2 children (under 16) sharing 2 rooms.
o 2 adult and 2 child (under 16) complimentary passes for the Natural Explorer boat ride (weather permitting).
o Up to £100 towards travel expenses. The Travel Allowance will only be reimbursed upon the presentation of invoices/receipts in support of allowable expenditure. The maximum amount of Travel Allowance payable will be at the Promoter’s discretion, and in any event will not exceed £100.
• Prize 3:
o 3 night stay in Natural Retreats Residence self-catering apartment for up to 6 adults sharing 3 rooms.
o 6 adult complimentary passes for the Natural Explorer boat ride (weather permitting).
o Up to £100 towards travel expenses. The Travel Allowance will only be reimbursed upon the presentation of invoices/receipts in support of allowable expenditure. The maximum amount of Travel Allowance payable will be at the Promoter’s discretion, and in any event will not exceed £100.
• Runner-up Prizes:
o 3 runner-ups will receive an item of outdoor kit from Blacks. Runner-up prizes will include 1x Osprey Talon 22L Daysack, 1 x Nitestik LED Lenser SEO 3 Head Torch and 1 x Leki Voyager Walking Poles (pair). Each runner-up will receive one of the prizes stated. Runner-up prize will be allocated randomly. The Promoter’s decision and allocation is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

4.2 The prize is subject to availability, and must be used in full by 31.05.2014.

4.3 The prize is as stated and is non-transferable, and non-refundable. No cash or other alternative is available (in whole or in part), except that in the event of circumstances outside its control, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a similar prize of equal or greater value.
4.4 The prize does not include any travel insurance, or any other meals or related living expenses. All travel, activities, and accommodation are at the winner’s and travel companion’s risk. Transportation to and from the departure point, taxes, fuel surcharge, meals, gratuities, travel upgrades or any other expenses not specifically listed in these Terms and Conditions are the responsibility of the winner.

4.5 Winner(s) and travel companion(s) must travel together, departing from and returning to the same location at the same time and on the same itinerary. The travel companion must be aged 18 years or over, unless the winner is their parent or legal guardian or has the written permission of their parent or legal guardian. The Promoter is not liable for delays, cancellations or unforeseen events related to any travel arrangements.
4.6 Winner(s) and travel companion(s) will be solely responsible for obtaining valid identification and compliance with all travel and health requirements (i.e. passports driving licences) relating to the acceptance and use of the prize package(s). The Promoter will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates.
4.7 If the winner is unable to use the prize by the date specified at Condition 4.2 the prize will be forfeited. All activities, travel and accommodation are subject to availability, weather conditions, and are subject to the individual prize provider’s standard terms and conditions, which can be found by contacting each prize provider as specified above at Condition 4.1.
