I am pleased with the FTSE 250 performance and a little less-so with the Vanguard Life 80.
The point of an asset allocation is that not everything moves in the same direction at the same time, so volatility is reduced. That will even happen within the individual components of the Vanguard product. But your individual share purchase accounts for 11% of your total pot, so you've just introduced a potentially volatile element right there.0 -
I do understand that TCA, thanks. Volatility can also mean reward! It was probably always going to happen, me buying an individual stock... My next investment will be in something more stable.0
