...just what you've always wanted!
South Georgia has had a problem with rats since the early 20th Century. The Rat Eradication project between the South Georgia Heritage Trust and the South Georgia Government aims to clear the Island of rats and to return it to the safe haven for wildlife that it was when Captain Cook discovered it back in 1775. Later in 2013 there will be a special stamp issue released and funds are being raised by inviting the public to donate £90 to clear one Hectare of land. We have a fantastic competition for one lucky winner to win a copy of the FDC when the stamps are released plus a certificate in the name of the winner for clearance of one hectare land.
You will need to login or register.
In what year did Captain Cook discover South Georgia?
The answer is: 1775

And the Op says

I think this may be an old compRational judgement, now, at this very moment.
Virtuous action, now, at this very moment.
(Wisdom, Courage, Self-control, Justice)
Willing acceptance - now, at this very moment - of what you can’t change0 -

Thanks, you may be correct, it's a bit confusing. The closing date on the comps page is 2014 (http://www.collectors-club-of-great-britain.co.uk/Competitions/) and I can't find it posted last year.0
