Ignored ticket - court case

Hi, I ignored my original ticket, even though I am in the right, hoping it would go away, I have now received a court letter, I have written the below for defence, i just want some feedback on it, I have done the acknowledgement to give me extra time, I went into halfords today who said they were unable to help as it has gone to court, many thanks
Dear sir/madam
Parking in the Wembley retail park is allowed for 2 and 1/2 hours,
I parked between 13.44 and 15.38 on the 18/8/2013 which is less
than 2 hours, I have just been back to the Wembley retail park to
check this and have taken a photo of the sign, it says in small!
writing below that 1 hour only allowed on event days.
On the day I parked it was NOT an event day, I have checked this
on the Wembley stadium event calender for 2013 which you can!
verify, also on this day the market was running in the Wembley!
stadium car park, which only runs when there is NO event as!
otherwise the stadium car park is used for fans.
I live in the Wembley event zone area myself and have an event day
permit, I avoid the stadium area on these days, I called parking
eye and they said their system was showing one hour allowance for
that day, so it seems they got it wrong.
This shows the parking charge is totally invalid.
Yours sincerely
