    No, you are right. Market Cap is even more instructive here. RBS roughly a third of what they were, Lloyds around twice as much.

    Ok il put it a different way, why is RBS valued at 4 times that of Lloyds? Greater asset base? They still prove to be more of a liability to the tax payer.
    It isn't. The essential point, I think, is that RBS is trading well below its alleged NAV, suggesting that there is still a lot of bad news to come.

    RBS did as consolidation in June 2012. Overnight every 10 shares became 1, the price changed accordingly fro
    20 something to 200 something. Had that not taken place they'd have closed at 33.2 instead of 332 tonight.

    They did a bunch of things, as I said issusing of new shares IS NOT taken into account in any share charts. It amazes my how many people are invested in banks under false assumptions over values pre and post crisis.
