Should credit report show a mortgage?

Options
Just wondering. I recently got my credit reports from call credit, experian and equifax.

However, none of them show my current mortgage. Is this normal?

I have moved several times (it's a residential mortgage, but the property is let with the mortgagee's consent). The correspondence address on the mortgage account is up-to-date, and the mortgaged property is listed in the "linked addresses" of all the reference agencies.

Even if this is not normal, does this even matter?

    Usually they do show.

If it was a very old mortgage then it wouldn't be that unusual not to show (as some old accounts were not reported either because they never obtained permission from the debtor or because they did but choose to only report if there is something negative to show).

Probably doesn't matter, especially as it is not your current residential address (although I guess it could depend on what else you have on file and what other credit you planned to apply for).
