gay_guy to reiterate, I think you should contact Stonewall for advice on how to complain. The Job Centre, even if it were run by an independent contracted company, would still be obliged to operate within public sector anti-discrimination policies.
It has to be said however, that the way the letters are coloured, doesn't look to me like the actual rainbow stripes and therefore some of the advisers may assume that you are wearing the tshirt as a joke.
My local police force basically ignored homophobia against me as I'm bisexual and I felt like saying: " What, me telling you I'm bisexual isn't enough I have to belong to some sort of LGBT group before you believe me ?"
If you have told the Job Centre that you are gay, then that should be proof enough. They don't ask people in sarees or burkhas to prove their religion, they accept what they are told.
So again, I think if you really want to help yourself get advice from Stonewall because they should be able to do something to help.
However, if you're wanting to use the Job Centre as a place to hook up, you don't need to wear a tshirt you could use the Grindr app that lets you see whether there are any other Grindr users nearby.0 -
Popcorn anyone?0

So many chips
not enough shoulders
the world doesn't owe you anything just because you're gay. You want to be treated the same as straight people then stop whinging when something doesn't go your way.0 -
OP gets attention by wearing this T shirt to the job centre and gets more attention on here by making threads about it.All your base are belong to us.0
