Forgot to post yesterday - took sausage stew, but as it turned out there were some free sandwiches knocking around left over from some meeting, so I ate some of those and put the stew in the fridge. So that makes it 4 out of 18.0

B17c, I have a juicer and use it (erratically). It makes extremely delicious juices and they do make you feel good. Never used it as part of a juice fast as such tho. Vegetable juices with broccoli, rocket, spinach or carrot taste amazing if combined with a sweet fruit such as apple or pineapple. They really are nice. I have read arguments that juicing isn't as good for you as eating the fruit and veg directly because it removes the fibre or something. But it certainly can't do any harm.0

Wow, big shout out to the chap on my team who helped me keep on track to not spend today :T (not that he knows I'm on any challenge of any sort, or that I'm trying to save money....)
I was planning to have my usual super cheap instant porridge but while gettign my stuff together to go to the kitchenette I realised I'd taken my spoon home to wash with my breaksfast stuff last night (it was so manic in work yesterday that I was super manky and didn't get time to wash them in work, whoops)
So I commented to the general populous that a fry up from the work canteen it was as I had no spoon for my porridge, and which point he produced me a spare plastic spoon from his drawer (:A) so that I "didn't have to get the greasy rubbish downstairs" very glad but (I know I shouldn't say this) also secretly gutted as I suddenly fancied a fry up :rotfl:
So, that's breakfast done and I have a last portion of hm curry for lunch. Oh and a banana for a snackApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
