***Please Read.....Go to the Ombudsman!***

Options
Hi everyone,

Just a quick post to urge EVERYONE who feels they have a claim for PPI to go to the Ombudsman if their case is rejected....certainly worked for me....(rightly I might add)

To cut a long story short - my claim for HSBC credit card PPI (Cardguard) was rejected upon my initial complaint to HSBC. I knew this was incorrect - so went striaght to the ombudsman. In the meantime...HSBC sent an "annual review of payment protection services" or some such letter....and in this letter - essentially owned up to mis-selling the product to me due to a discrepancy over working hours.

I sent this straight on to the ombudsman and lo-and-behold....my complaint was upheld. I am now awaiting the funds after accepting the offer and I'm just here to urge people not to give up and to go to the ombudsman if you feel you have a genuine case. I could not be happier to finally bring HSBC to justice regarding this and also land myself a whopping settlement in the process :rotfl::rotfl:

Please, please, please - take your case to the ombudsman....yes it takes a loooong time.....but believe me, if you have been mis-sold it is definitely worth it
