Changing from Economy 7
I am currently with British Gas, I used to have the economy 7
tariff but it wasn't worth it so I changed to a standard tariff, keeping the same meter I give both day and night readings to BG but pay the same rate. I was going to change to OVO but they have said that they don't do a single tariff for day and night readings and I would have to have the meter changed.
What are other peoples experience of this, I am now thinking I will stay as I am rather than change meters, which I think I will be charged for, though OVO didn't mention that.

BG are one of the few suppliers that combine day and night readings and bill at a flat rate. No supplier has to - it's the customers responsibility to ensure they have the appropriate meter for their needs.
You can try and ask BG if they will change the meter to a single rate free of charge. They definitely change PPMs to credit meters for free, but I have no idea about E7 to single rate.0
