Euro Car Parks Parking Fine

Hi,

I just recieved a letter through the door saying I had overstayed in a car park and that i would have to pay a fine, However -

1. I did not know this car park had a maximum stay (must be bad signage)
2. My Car battery died and I had to wait on someone coming to jump start me.

This happened at the waterfront car park in Greenock.

Should I pay this fine?

I ALWAYS misread this for euro car parts. LOL. My first thought is damn they're really !!!!ing off their customer base if they're dishing out tickets to their customers.

Would help if someone didn't post a parking post here every single day.

They can only chase the driver in Scotland so you can ignore all letters. Just never, ever tell them who the driver is.
