samsung tab 3 and audio books?

hi all I have a tab 3 and really want to be able to download and listen to an audio book whilst travelling, I have tried to do this but when i try to play them back it doesn't work ? any advice thanks

    What audio book were you downloading/where from?
    What format was the audio book in?
    How did you open it on the tab 3 to try to play it?
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
    3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?

    hi I have downloaded 3 different apps ;

    audiobooks, librivox and audible ?

    I then went onto apps, my files and then to my SD card , where the book was stored , but when I try to open it states "no files "

    hope this makes sense im not very technical minded
