Cheap kitchens? Where is the best place to look?

Hi,
I have just bought a two bed flat and I am looking to buy a kitchen for the property as i am going to be letting out. it is only a small kitchen - 2.29m x 2.49m, but the cheapest quote I've found so far is almost £3000! where am i going wrong?!
where is the best place to find a cheap but presentable kitchen? I already have an oven, hob and extractor, and will not be providing washing machine and fridge so it is just the units i need.
Thanks!

If you have the applicances maybe source some units cheaply on ebay/freecycle/gumtree and get a local carpenter to fit them. Or there are companies I think which specialise in refurbishing kitchens.0

Have you tried Ikea? I don't have one from there myself, but they always get good recommendations elsewhere on this site.0

Why would you want to invest in units for a property you are renting?
If you need workspace to chop and prepare food, then consider a portable workbench instead, or alternatively, tell the landlord to stick their kitchenless property where the sun doesn't glimmer and find somewhere to live which has these basics.0 -

Sorry I worded that in a confusing manner - I AM the landlord! That should be 'a property that I am renting OUT' rather than a property I am renting!!0 -
The words you are looking for are 'letting out', and for goodness sake provide something half decentBlackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0

Wickes "Smart" (takeaway) kitchen. Just done a 13 unit one with oven, hood, hob for under 2k for a customer. Alternatively, Ikea, Howden's budget ranges (Greenwich), B&Q IT, Benchmarx Options ranges, and many many more.
There is no shortage of choice if you know where to look.0
