Wireless Charging Nexus 5

Hi,
I picked up a nice new Google Nexus 5 phone at the weekend to replace my boring Apple iPhone 5c. Very impressed with the phone but one of the reasons I took it (And was disappointed my Galaxy S4 didn't have) is the Qi Wireless Charging.
Google offer a Qi charger at £35 which looks good but I see there are others ranging from £10+. Does anyone have experience of using the cheaper chargers - should they work just as well?
The location I'll use it is in my work office, which is open plan. Some mention a beep when placing the phone on charge which really is a no-go for me, but a light blinking or not wouldn't bother me.
Interested to hear others thoughts.

Really does perplex me. People don't mind paying £300 or so for a phone, but yet wan't to choose a cheap nasty chinese knock off charger.
Seen so many phone's get destroyed this way.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0
