Leaking radiator.

The kitchen radiator started to leak last night I noticed a small puddle on the floor, it's not the end where you bleed it, but the other end where it's blanked off,

how can I fix this.

thanks

    Close both valves.
open bleed valve to relive the pressure (use towel at both ends to catch the water), if water doesnt stop coming out then the valves have not shut properly, if thats the case you will need a plumber.

With adjustable spanner unto and remove the leakign cap. clean the hole thats now exposed.

Theres two types of plug, either an o-ring kind, or the plain kind that you will need ptfe tape to seal.
If the o-ring kind, and has perished you will need a new one. if plain kind, wrap lots of ptfe tape around it and screw it back in, it should be a tight fit.

Our radiators are leaking from the top as per the pictures in the link above. I was told by a plumber informally that the o-rings possibly need replacing. Does that sound right? Is this something we can manage ourselves? Any diy video links could be useful. If its a simple fix it would be great to fix it ourselves!
