Is There Any Way I Can Hide Or Take Off The Compers Chat Corner?

I was just wondering if there is a way you can hide a section of the forum?

I think you can get rid of most parts of the forum by linking direct to the part you want, say competitions time, but chat corner is a sub board of comp time so you cannot, although you can just link to chat corner or game over or iwiwiw without seeing the main part of competitions time.

i get palpitations when i read the Discussion Time section ........ so i just dont click on it. so erm ... yeh, just dont click on it!

I know on some forums you can just opt out of seeing some parts if you don't want to.

I wonder if asking the forum team if they could alter my settings their end? They must have more optionsfor things than us,though I am not tech minded

Luckyone, Just ignore it, I'm quite hot headed (to say the least!!!),A wise Mser (Sir Al Mac) Taught me to write what i want and press delete before I post so it's off my chest.

Lifes too short as I found out recently to let forum issues get to you.


Read what's written Ohh and Ahh it and move on, Often the debate isn't worth upsetting yourself over.

One of the best pieces of advice I've read regarding general forum life, and one that so often goes unheeded.

You could get a plaster and stick it on the screen where it says Compers Chat Corner,that would do the trick :-) Barring that don't let people you are probably never going to meet in your life get to you.They aren't worth the stress. The topic will be forgot in a day or two and something else will be next.

That's the trouble it's the stress. It's making me ill. I have no way of being contacted by PM but that is not enough now I need to get rid of the CCC.

I've pmed a techy forum team member. It might be possible to just take that section off the list of sub forums for me.
