Hi...
I have a hp pavilion 15 smart touch and the touch screen has just stopped working while I was using the Internet. Does anyone know how to get it working again???
I'm currently getting shouted out by the other half for touch buttons...which I haven't touched anything intentionally!
Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered!

There might be a keyboard shortcut to disable the touchscreen, much like there is for speakers/volume/Bluetooth, worth a look. Or it might have just broken, things sometimes do, but try seeing if there's a button to restore it first.0

From a GOOGLE search - HP forum on another computer gives way to turn off so same to turn on
I believe that you can go into the Control Panel and select the "Pen and Touch" option. Uncheck the box that says "Use your finger as an input device"
Obviously check to turn on.
Possibly here
Go to Control Panel,
then Hardware and Sound,
then Pen and Touch
Check your control panel for this incase your computer works the same way.
or
Control Panel
HP Touch Screen Configuration
Global Settings Tab
Simply click disable under that option.
This way it is easily enabled at a later date.0
