If bought online and the description specs say cd/dvd drive or something in a list like CD/DVD Driver - YES, then it could be returned on a not as described basis as well.
I'm a bit confused though, why switch it on and use it, when you see it doesn't have a drive on it and one was required.
So many people get confused by Windows 8, particularly the fact that initially Internet Explorer is set to run in the full screen metro style mode.
It might be worth, getting someone with some knowledge of Windows 8, to run through some basics with you and if necessary update it to Windows 8.1, which makes several things easier and includes basic tutorials.0 -
