Short term insurance

Hello, does anybody have any experience of short-term car insurance?
My daughter is due to take her driving test next Tuesday. At the moment, the car which was hers has been transferred into her brothers name as he passed his test in January this year.
If she passes her test, she will want to drive straight away and will use the car she already has, for a short while, until she sorts herself out.
Are there any insurers who will insure her for a period of say 2 to 4 weeks? I have had a quick look and even though I found a few, they would not let me enter her age (she is 18) and most of them were for 21+. Would it be worth me ringing to ask the current insurers of the car (KWIKFIT)? Anybody any idea how much the charge is likely to be for 1 month?
Any advice and suggestions welcome.
Thanks, Carol.

Hi - suggest you investigate www.clickthepepper.com
which is a new scheme for learner drivers and is explained fully on the website.28 days cover will cost about £70.00 and cover can be extended weekly after that.Available from age 17.
No connection with the company.
