TP link for Humax Freesat?

Hi, sorry if this question has been answered on here before, done a quick search and can't find it so hope someone can help.

We've just bought a Humax Freesat to replace Sky and need to wifi it for iplayer etc. A cable is provided but our router is too far away to make it practical.

We already have a TP Link plug on the router so that we can get wifi upstairs, and I just want to know if this unit will double up for the Freesat or if each piece of equipment needs its own 'transmitter'? In other words do we need to buy a pair or will a single one attached to the Freesat be able to receive from the one already on the router?

Sorry if I haven't explained this very well but hope you get the gist!

Thanks in advance.
Oh dear, here we go again.

The TP Link plug attached to the router will provide a link to multiple outlets so you just need one more TP Link 'outlet' to connect to your Humax box.

Not strictly true , in fact it's totally wrong :D, if you have an ethernet switch or even an old router then you can run more than one device from the same homeplug. I run 2 PCs, a printer and a NAS from the same 500mb homeplug

Edited: plus the two PC's , printer and the NAS work very fast between themselves , and the router is connected via ADSL so the max speed I get is 12Mbps to the internet but the rest of the kit talk to each other at 1 Gb speeds
