Halifax / Bank of Scotland new mobile app

Options
I thought people on here might like to know ... Bank of Scotland have released a new mobile app for Android and Apple, which shows both BoS and Halifax accounts.

My initial thoughts are that it seems pretty good ... allows you to see statements, make payments (new & existing payees) etc, on a 'proper' app (whereas the previous one was just a gateway into their mobile banking site). A little more cluttered than the likes of Nationwide (probably difficult to use on a small screen), but does the job.

  • i'm with the tsb so hopefully they will not be far behind with the simpler log-in - don't like the current procedure (my fat fingers lol)

I've been using it for a about a week now and it's ok.
    • It seems slower than the Nationwide one.
    • It starts with an authentication page which it doesn't always load past on a 2G data connection.
    • It shows my Halifax card as N/A unless I actually click into it.
Seems unfinished - perhaps BOS customers are Guinea Pigs of Lloyds Banking Group ;)
