German radiators

Thinking about replacing the current storage heaters in my 'new' house and have been reading about German heating as supplied by (amongst others) the Heat Plan.

Are these heaters as efficient/ effective as the marketing bumpff? I can't find any reviews online so would appreciate some help here.

Thanks

Ooh! Just found a long thread about the very same subject so don't want to replicate the discussion/ argument.

    :o
  • They are as effective/efficient as a £20 convector heater from Argos etc. All electric heaters are 100% efficient or as near as dammit.

However you will be running them on peak rate electricity, which is about twice or three times the price of off-peak electricity used by storage heaters.

Rointe / Calortec / Fischer and other brands which claim premium performance have been discussed here
