its free to sign up here http://forums.mg-rover.org/forumdisplay.php?f=101 there loads of guides on how to maintain and things to look out for in the 25/200/streetwise forum section.
if theres no mention of a timing belt and water pump being replaced, then get it done as matter of urgency, the belt kits are only around £35.00 and an easy job to do on a rover k series for any garage, I could used to fit one in just over 30 mins in my good days I cant do it now with illhealth, I would estimate labor to be round £100.00 mark.0
