Had a barker and stonehouse sofa for just over a year now.
One of the springs in the back started to make an odd noise so I called barker and stonehouse customer services... a couple of days later a nice chap came round exactly when they said he would, fixed everything perfectly and went the extra mile to make sure the whole sofa was 'serviced' as it were, politely told us he was done and waited to make sure we were happy then off he went. A very painless experience.
I know this is what every company should be like, but we all know it doesnt work like that. So, good on them! I have ordered a second sofa from them now.

I only ever buy quality branded furniture for this very reason, such as Multiyork or Bridgecraft.
With these reputable British companies customer service really is very important to them & they seem to understand that by going the extra mile, not only will you recommend them to other people, but that you'll buy from them again if ever on the lookout for furniture.
I know that Barker & Stonehouse do have a very good reputation, so long may they prosper!The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
