RBS Showing Defaults Incorrectly?

Hello
I entered bankruptcy (Scotland) in May 2011 and was discharged from bankruptcy in May 2012. I registered with Credit Expert in February 2013 and found many creditors still showed I owed a debt. Credit Expert explained if I send proof of my discharge they'll contact my creditors to update my file. All did this apart from the Royal Bank of Scotland.
I had to contact them personally to have my records updated. They say they've done it but only from July 2013. So my credit file shows defaults to the bank since the day I entered bankruptcy.
All other creditors have updated their records so no defaults show either from the date of bankruptcy or the date I was discharged from bankruptcy.
Do RBS have to update their records like my other creditors have or is it something entirely at their discretion?

A debt included in your bankruptcy should show as a satisfied or partially satisfied default. The default date should be no later than your bankruptcy date, and the satisfaction date should be no later than your discharge date.

Thank you, this makes a lot of sense. It looks like RBS are chancing their arm. I'll give them one more opportunity then I'll take it to the ombudsman. It's odd as it feels almost like they want it to go that far!0

RBS customer services are slow and generally useless.
OH got a response to a RBS complaint on Natwest paper, talking about her Natwest select account, she doesn't bank with Natwest.:beer:0
