Times subscriptions problems

Having been a Sunday Times subscriber for a long time I cancelled my subscription because they were continually removing benefits of the subscription such as web access and iPad edition. Their customer service also dropped from great a few years ago to poor in the last year. Slow to respond and no useful response.
Looking at current subscription offers I am surprised at how hidden some of the important information is. Depending on what Web link you go in at you may see different information. For example I could go in at "store.thetimes.co.uk", select the £1 for 30 days trial and go all the way to accepting the terms and conditions without it being clear if I would be committing to a rolling or one year subscription.
I also note that they now require 15 days notice before the end of the trial, it used to be 7 and that it will be £6 a week after that when only a couple of years ago it was £2 a week for iPad digital editions. I suspect this is a rolling subscription but there is no evidence of a yearly contract option at £4 a week as there was at the end of last year.
Come on TNL, please improve your both your presentation of subscription options and the value closer to where it used to be.

The devious nature of the Times/Sunday Times where they want to trap you in contracts and paying amounts that are quite high seems endless. In some ways I wouldn't mind a subscription but I won't do it until they have a more transparent pricing model rather than hoping that with 57 different flavours and lengths they can trap you into something you didn't really want.0

Considering the job of a newspaper is supposed to be to communicate, this is pretty poor form.0
