Paintless dent repairs
Are these types of repair any good, some inconsiderate driver has opened their car door onto my car and left a very small dint thats only visible is certain lights but no damage to the paint like on my previous car.
I know where and when it was done but obviously can't prove it as I didnt actually see the driver do it.
As the car is only a few weeks old I still deciding whether to fix or leave until there are more dints which is extremely likely where we live.
I just wish people would be more careful when exiting their cars and mind other peoples property.

Should be ideal for what you ask. Bloke will just come to you and suck the dint out.You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I’ll tickle your catastrophe (Henry IV part 2)0

Almost certainly will fix it so that you can't tell. But how long until you get another? The first one hurts, but they get easier after that!

That was what I was thinking really, this one is very hard to notice, it could be a waste of £50 or so as I could be back for more repairs at some point,
I am hopng to keep car for 5 years or so; or for as long as it proves reliable, it won't have any bearing on the part ex value then.0 -
I feel for you mate. I had the exact thing happen to me sometime in the last 2 weeks, only noticed when I washed the car last weekend to find a light dent on the door panel and a small chip higher up on my 3 month old baby.
I'm going to take it down to the local bodyshop when the weather gets better to get a quote, I think they use the local Dent Devils guy who's supposedly very good.0 -
Aren't there some diy type of products from the likes of jml which might be able to pull dents out as well? I have never used them myself but if they are cheap then it might be worth a gamble to see if they can get the job done without involving a professional.0

Forget fixing it yourself and use a 'professional'. Problem is, the repair is only as good as the guy doing it. I used Dent Devils once (It was about £65, 7 years ago) and the guy did a great job. Maybe try asking the dealer who sold you your car who they use. Dealers use these types of guys to repair cars they're selling second hand, so you'd hope they don't employ muppets!0
